2004 Honda Insight

This is a 2004 Honda Insight Hybrid.The customer wanted a little more power without sacrificing fuel economy too much. The customer mentioned turbo charging using a Vortech FMU so not to modify the factory Honda computer which is already doing a great job.  We used a Garret turbo supplied from Precision turbo + Engine, and LHT built the manifold, downpipe and all necessary tubing.  The end result was very simple and clean. The boost was set at 5 psi, the car accelerates night and day from before, it would spin the tires all through 1st gear with very little effort.The best apart the new setup, the customer has reported the Insight is now getting better overall gas mileage due it getting up to cruising speed faster and achieving lean burn.  More info can be found here: Insightcentral.net
