This is a 100% stock GSR. Since the car is female owned and driven, one of the requirements was that the A/C be retained, and while we were at it, the stock radiator was also kept. The manifold is a custom LHT shorty with a GT2871RS Turbo chosen for it's very fast spool time. The intercooler was anodized black for less show appearance, LHT Aluminum piping was polished and polished heat shields were built and installed to keep under hood heat problems away. An HKS BOV was chosen for it's function but subtle sound. This car is just a blast to drive, it is very quiet (Stock Type R exhaust) and has the most amazing power band. Starting the pull at 2000 rpm the Turbo hit full boost (9psi) at 3100 rpm and held till 8200 rpm (Rev limiter). The car was tuned with Hondata and Precision 580cc injectors. It put down 248 whp and 201 tq and sounds like a stock GSR, apart from the turbo whistle of course. It uses 3 Spal fans which keep the A/C Ice cold and the engine at 195 even in the blistering Florida heat.
